Terms of use

These terms govern your use of vibe-scan.net and the VibeScan scanning service, operated by Britannic AI Ltd. By submitting a URL to be scanned, you agree to them.

What VibeScan does

VibeScan is a free, automated tool that checks a website you give us for common, publicly-detectable security issues, then shows you what it found.

Who can scan a site

You may only submit a URL for scanning if you own that site, or you have the owner's permission to test it. This is the same condition you confirm on the scan form itself — these terms make it binding, not just a form label.

What you can't do

If we believe a domain or address is being used to break these rules, we may block it from being scanned, without notice.

Who owns what

Britannic AI Ltd owns VibeScan — the product, the code behind it, and the VibeScan name and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Your scan report is yours. You're free to use it, keep it, and share it with anyone you choose — your own developers, a consultant, whoever you need to see it.

No warranty

VibeScan checks for a defined set of automatically-detectable issues. It is not a complete security audit, and finding nothing does not mean a site is secure. The service is provided as-is, without a guarantee that it will catch every issue or that it will be available at any given time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Britannic AI Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from your use of VibeScan or reliance on a scan report, including action you take, or don't take, based on its results. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date below shows when they were last updated.
